In April, the Salisbury Conservation Commission will be running an auction on these Web pages as a fundraiser for our programs. About a dozen items have been donated, and some of these can be seen at the auction website. Bidding will begin on Sunday, April 18 and continue until Thursday, April 29. Auction winners can pay and pickup their items at the Spring Fling dinner at the Salisbury Community School on Saturday, May 1, or make other arrangements.
We are very interested in providing exposure for local artists, craftspeople, and businesses. If you would like your creation, product, or service to be featured on the auction website, please let us know soon that you would like to make a donation. Just click Contact the Conservation Commission to the right or call Chris Fastie at 352-9028 and we should be able to include your gift in the auction. All proceeds of this event go directly to support the education, conservation, and research programs of the Conservation Commission, which are described on these Web pages. We greatly appreciate your help.
Bucket Raffle at the Spring Fling Dinner
We will also be holding a raffle at the Spring Fling dinner where many smaller items will be displayed. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase, and a drawing will be held for each item. If you would like to donate items for the raffle, please click Contact the Conservation Commission or call. Generally, items for the raffle will be valued at less than $40.
